Toto Wolff is Team Principal & CEO of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport. He is the managing partner of the team alongside wider responsibilities as Head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport.
From an early age Lewis Hamilton attracted attention as a potential F1 champion and as he grew older he did not disappoint. Equipped with an assured racing style which belied his years, he rose rapidly through the ranks, a rise which culminated in becoming the sport's youngest world champion in 2008. Lewis Hamilton is currently 5-time world champion.
Valtteri Bottas was contracted to Williams for a fifth season in 2017 but when Nico Rosberg announced retirement at the end of 2016, Mercedes came calling. By January the world champions had brokered a deal with Williams to buy Valtteri Bottas out of his 2017 contract. The deal was the break he had been waiting for and in his first season with Mercedes he scored victories at the Russian, Austrian and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix.
